ELLOOOO! OHM I feel the sun popping out little by little…I already see some very fearless daffodils coming out of the ground…spring is on the way….although the weather has not been so great….oh well I am thankful for all!
I am already excited to start my seedlings…I might be a little late in fact…I am not so tech with it…like, I don’t have those nice mats that helps the plants to germinate..(oh I wish!)…But I will try nevertheless to plant my seeds. It is such a pleasure to be able to grow things. Inspired by this desire I created a “Garden party invitation/memento/picture frame” with Gilli Florist! In fact I have a tutorial on how to make this card over the SSDTblog…I will be adding a pdf file here sometime .
For this project I used Gilli Florist colored with copic markers. I added real flowers to her little basket!!! Take a peak, just click on the image. Anyway, the base of the card (front and back) was made with Anglaise die cut attached by a little piece of twine (cotton cord). The picture on the card (from my very own grown flower) was cut using Spellbinders classic circles large. All the glitz is stickles. The little sentiment/pendant is a combo of Frou frou die cut and Spellbinder classic circles. The stamped image is from the Stamping scrapping designer stamp Frou Frou.
Here is how I did the inside. The stamped frame is from SS designer stamps Lacey circles. I wrote the little sentiment and the party info with copic multiliners…I love this guys!!!
Well I hope you are getting your seedlings started! If so share with me some tips!!! I would love to hear about it! Huggies!
